COSMETIC SURGERY: WHAT IS COSMETIC SURGERY?

Cosmetic surgery is a subspecialty of plastic surgery concerned with enhancing the appearance of the human body through medical procedures and surgical techniques. Results should look natural, maintaining normal appearance by correcting aesthetical aspects of the body or face trying to improve his/her looks.
Plastic surgery is dedicated to the surgical repair of the body in form or function. Aesthetic cosmetic surgery is paired with reconstructive or corrective plastic surgery within the broader sense of plastic surgery. In a general sense, cosmetic surgery is dedicated to improve aesthetics alone. Related subspecialties to cosmetic surgery include otolaryngology, maxillofacial surgery, general surgery, gynecological surgery and others. According to recent figures, it is estimated that in 2006, some 11 million cosmetic procedures were performed in the United States.
Here is a list of the cosmetic procedures we perform at Natural Belle, at the highest safety and quality standards, and at low cost; when available, the common names are also listed.
