NATURAL BELLE is a brand that belongs to the UNIDAD QUIRUGICA DE LOS ALPES (UQLA) LTDA. The UQLA is a health services provider specializing in the cosmetic plastic surgery field. It has been certified by the ISO 9001 2000 standards and works in conjunction with a selected group of anesthesiologists and surgeons of different specialties such as Plastic surgery, Otolaryngology, Maxillofacial surgery, Gynecology and General Surgery to offer surgical services of cosmetic and plastic surgery.

Our professionals follow the “clinical method” in all their procedures. This method requires surgeons to ask and register in the medical history the patient’s personal data, reasons for consultation (expectations and desires of physical image improvement), physical and aesthetic examination (pictures) and the patient’s health conditions (previous or probable future illnesses). The surgeon must define the surgical procedures that best suit the patient, decide on the team of doctors that will perform the treatment, supervise the recovery process and finally asses the results.

During the past 8 years more than 11,200 patients have been operated at UQLA and 63.75% have undergone a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure. Fifty-four percent of these procedures have been multiple procedures that have obtained an annual average satisfaction level of 98.59%.

The Unidad Quirurgica de los Alpes has been certified by the Secretaria de Salud of Bogota in 2005 for complying with the “Sistema Unico de Habilitacion” for health service providers. This certification guarantees patients fulfillment of technological standards and financial, technical and administrative abilities.

Additionally the UQLA was certified in 2005 by the quality standards ISO 90001 2000. The certification includes medical appointments, outpatient surgery in plastic surgery, otolaryngology and post-surgery services. This certification is renewed every year by ICONTEC, the national representation of IQNET.

At the moment Natural Belle’s quality system seeks to obtain ICONTEC’s Health Accreditation sponsored by the Ministerio de Proteccion Social of Colombia awarded for compliance with standards of superior performance of health service providers.
