PLASTIC SURGEON JORGE WILCKEN

Doctor Jorgen Wilcken is a Colombian plastic surgeon born in the city of Barranquilla in the beautiful Atlantic Colombian coast.

After finishing High School in Barranquilla Dr. Wilcken studied medicine in one of the coast’s most prestigious universities, the Universidad del Norte.  In 1998 he finished his plastic surgery specialization at the Hospital General de Ipanema in Brasil. 

During his years of practice Dr. Wilcken has participated in numerous conferences and events which include:

The most important honors received by Dr. Wilcken include:
1. Interns Chief at the Plastic Surgery Department, Hospital de Ipanema. During his last year as intern. (April 97-April 98).

2. Liacyr Ribeiro award for the best work on a special category during the “Segundo Encuentro de los Servicios Credenciados de la Sociedad Brasilera de Cirugia Plastica – SBCP” at the Hospital de la Lagoa, Rio de Janeiro Brasil. Work Title: “Colgajo de base inferior en mamoplastías”

Dr. Wilcken currently belongs to the Colombian Plastic Surgery Society.
